SOLLIS Jewellery

Designed by Eleanor Ford, SOLLIS Jewellery is one of the most exciting Australian accessory brands to emerge in recent years. The ethos behind SOLLIS is the exploration of the relationship between craft and fashion, a notion that Eleanor has been fascinated by throughout her many years in the industry in London, Paris, and now Sydney. Traditional techniques are employed to form contemporary fashion pieces which reflect modern trends, while also conveying a timeless classicism. Eleanor deftly blends patterns and textures to give her jewellery a tactile and touchable nature. Her dedication to craft comes from a love for the creative process and each piece is beautifully and painstakingly hand-crafted.

“I constantly challenge myself to learn new craft techniques. Taking a spark of an idea and a new technique, I often design jewellery in a hands on fashion, allowing a concept to develop through the making process itself.”

The current SOLLIS collection entitled ‘FRIDA’ is infused with notes inspired by the textiles and patterns of Central and Latin America. Guatemalan and Mexican influences inject vibrancy into elegant shapes, while the popular 70s craft of macramé is reworked to include modern elements such as metal beading and clashing colours.
